A Prairieville intersection is making drivers feel unsafe

PRAIRIEVILLE- At Perkins Road and Perkins Oak Road, right by the Walmart in Prairieville, traffic is chaotic.
The stoplight came down for drainage work, and soon after, temporary stop signs went up, but when the work ended, those were pulled down too.

BATON ROUGE — I-10 eastbound at Perkins Road was closed after a crash Friday morning, delaying traffic all the way to the Mississippi River Bridge.
The two left lanes were blocked starting at 8:50 a.m. By 9:30 a.m., only one lane was closed. By 9:45 a.m., the entire roadway reopened.

BATON ROUGE — The shoulder of I-10 westbound was blocked approaching Highland Road after a crash Wednesday morning.
Congestion from the crash, which was first reported around 7:11 a.m., was backed up to around La. 73 near Geismar. When the crash was first reported, two lanes of traffic were closed.

The blockage is causing congestion approaching North Boulevard.

GROSSE TETE — The left inside lane of I-10 eastbound was closed Wednesday between Grosse Tete and Lobdell Highway after a truck drove off the road.
West Baton Rouge Parish deputies responded to the scene around 11:45 a.m.
