Crash on Fayard Road leaves nearly 400 Livingston Parish residents without power

SPRINGFIELD — An crash in Livingston Parish left hundreds of customers without power on Sunday.
According to the Livingston Parish Fire Protection District, the crash occurred on Fayard Road, leading to a downed power pole.
According to outage maps, about 389 customers are currently without power.
Drivers in the area should seek an alternate route.

ZACHARY - The Zachary Really Hot Air Balloon Festival was shut down following reports of a shooting, the Zachary Police Department confirmed.
Officials received the call around 8:10 p.m.; emergency officials are on scene at the Zachary Community Park.
