Brittany Weiss is the 2 On Your Side reporter and 4 p.m. anchor for WBRZ. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, she graduated with her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake University. Weiss joined the WBRZ team in August 2012 and has made Baton Rouge her home ever since.

Following the devastating 2016 floods, Brittany resurrected the 2 On Your Side investigation brand to help victims get back on their feet and recover. Since then, Brittany has built a strong reputation for in-depth reporting and problem-solving, where she and 2 On Your Side have built a solid and award-winning reputation among the news sphere and the community.

In 2021, Weiss received the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters’ Reporter of the Year Award, honoring her impactful investigative work.

The Cub fan resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband, two sons, and Yorkie, while organizing the annual Shamrock Run for the Wearin' of the Green Parade. They enjoy visiting restaurants and parks, and taking walks together. She is an Alpha Phi Alumna and future world traveler who enjoys playing golf, reading, swimming and cooking.
