BATON ROUGE - A sizable crowd of LSU football fans descended upon the L'Auberge Hotel and Casino for the Baton Rouge Sports Cards and Autograph show, in which several Tiger football players made scheduled appearances.

The room where the event took place was stocked full of valuable sports memorabilia. Lines stretched pretty well for each Tiger that made the trip, but quarterback Sam Leavitt and Whit Weeks seemed to be the most popular players there.

Even Baton Rouge rapper Boosie was in on the action. He seemed bullish on LSU football's chances this season.

"We got a squad this year," said Boosie. "I'm excited for Lane, especially I'm excited for Lane. I ain't never been this excited in a minute, because I feel like this could be like the 2019 year."

The Tigers won the national champonship during the 2019 season.
