BATON ROUGE — It's almost time for the 2026 Mardi Gras season! Here is a list of parades and other events coming up across the region:
ASCENSION PARISH
Krewe of Dville
Where: Church Street in Donaldsonville
When: Jan. 4 at 2 p.m.
Details: The parade will begin on Church Street, then turn right onto Marchland Drive and another right onto Railroad Avenue. Be sure to catch one of the Krewe's Mardi Gras ducks!
Krewe of Ascension's Mardi Gras Mambo Parade
Where: Irma Boulevard in Gonzales
When: Feb. 7 at 2 p.m.
Details: Starts on Irma Blvd., turns onto E. Cornerview Blvd., goes down Burnside Ave. (Hwy 44), and finishes at the intersection of Hwy 30.
EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH
Krewe of Oshun
Where: Scotlandville Parkway Conservation Park
When: Jan. 31 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Details: The parade will begin on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3200 Harding Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA.
Krewe of Artemis
Where: Downtown Baton Rouge
When: Feb. 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mid City Gras Parade
Where: North Boulevard, Baton Rouge

Details: Parade route begins at North Boulevard at 19th Street ending at the Baton Rouge Community College.
Krewe of Southdowns Mardi Gras Parade
Where: Southdowns, Baton Rouge
When: Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.

Spanish Town Mardi Gras
Where: Downtown Baton Rouge
When: Feb. 14 at noon
Details: The parade is scheduled to begin at noon, with festivities continuing throughout the day. People are invited after the parade at the Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum located at 427 Laurel St, for live music and a fun post-parade celebration. More information is available here.
BR Mardi Gras Festival - N. Boulevard Town Square
Where: 222 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge
When: Feb. 14, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m.
Details: The 13th Annual Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival is family-friendly and free to the public. It features continuous live music of various genres, a Vendor’s Village and Food Court filled with festival food favorites for this annual celebration. More information available here.
Zachary Mardi Gras

When: Feb. 22 at 2 p.m.

Krewe of Diversion
Where: Boat parade in Maurepas
When: Feb. 7 at noon
Details: Enjoy an unforgettable time with Grand Marshal Troy Landry rolling in the Krewe of Diversion Mardi Gras Boat Parade hosted by Louisiana Friends Fighting Childhood Cancer. The Parade starts at noon, and all proceeds from the parade benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
