A fall-like stretch of weather is settling in, with cooler temperatures and much lower humidity expected through Tuesday. The dry conditions will also keep fire concerns elevated, while another cold front is expected to bring a second round of cooler weather late in the week.
Today and tonight: Look for a mostly sunny and comfortable Sunday with only a few high, thin clouds. Afternoon highs will reach the 70s, with low humidity and a light breeze. Tonight will be clear and cool, with temperatures dropping into the 40s.

Up Next: The cooler, dry pattern continues Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the 70s and morning lows mainly in the 40s. A weak disturbance could bring some clouds Tuesday night into Wednesday, but moisture will be limited and meaningful rainfall is not expected.
Temperatures may briefly moderate Wednesday and Thursday, with a few locations reaching around 80 degrees. Another cold front is expected to move through late Thursday, bringing a fresh push of cooler, dry air for Friday and Saturday. Highs will likely stay in the 60s, with Saturday morning looking especially chilly. Temperatures could dip into the 30s across parts of the northern areas.
Dry conditions and ongoing drought will also keep fire spread concerns elevated through Tuesday. Residents in areas under burn bans should avoid outdoor burning, while everyone else should use extra caution.
Tropics: The National Hurricane Center says tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the Atlantic, Caribbean Sea or Gulf of Mexico over the next seven days.
