Women empowering women event to offer career resources in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE — Capital Area United Way and Women United hosted its annual Women Empowering Women event Thursday, offering career resources and workforce development tools for women in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Attendees had access to on-site job interviews, a professional clothing boutique, interview preparation sessions and a panel featuring female leaders across multiple industries. The event helped connect participants with opportunities for career advancement.

Organizers are also preparing for their next major event, the Celebrate the Power of Women Awards on May 7.
