BATON ROUGE - The Southeastern Conference communicated to attorneys that the league will comply with a Louisiana state court order permitting professional football players to return to college football, Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger reported.

This comes a day after a Louisiana judge signed a temporary restraining order Friday that prevents the SEC from implementing a policy banning players who have declared for the draft, signed a contract with, or been listed on a roster in the NFL, NBA and WNBA, including any of their affiliate leagues.

This comes after LSU received commitments from undrafted defensive lineman Zxavian Harris and former Cleveland Browns tight end Dae'Quan Wright. Both went to college at Ole Miss and are listed as plaintiffs.

Yahoo Sports also said the SEC's compliance does not end litigation or necessarily mean the league won't in the future impose penalties through other legal mechanisms, such as a suit in federal court, or if the SEC wins in trial.
