$150,000 Powerball ticket sold at gas station in Walker
BATON ROUGE — A woman won $150,000 from a Powerball ticket that was purchased at a gas station in Walker.
Winner Barbara Ogden purchased the ticket at Hit N Run Food Store at 27952 Walker South. Ogden matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball number. She also purchased the Power Play option, which tripled her winnings.
She claimed the prize on Aug. 3, taking home $109,500 after state and federal taxes.
The Powerball is now nearing $1 billion, the eighth largest in Powerball history, after there was no jackpot winner after Monday's drawing.

The next drawing will be on Wednesday. The current odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338, according to the Louisiana Lottery website.
