NATALBANY - A 17-year-old from Killian died in a wreck in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday. 

According to State Police, the teen failed to stop at the intersection of Greco and Natalbany roads around 5 p.m. on Nov. 1. 

Troopers said the teen's car was hit on its passenger side by a truck. LSP said the driver was not wearing their seatbelt and was thrown from the car. They were taken to a hospital, where they died. 

State Police said the driver and passenger of the truck suffered minor injuries. 

The crash is still under investigation and toxicology samples have been collected.
