BATON ROUGE — A 61-year-old man accused of trying to meet a teenage boy in a parking lot for sex has been arrested. 

Eric Anders was arrested in an undercover operation led by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office. Anders' arrest warrant says that, on May 13, investigators created a social media account for an 18-year-old man due to the platform's age requirements.

Anders then began communicating with the undercover account. During this time, Anders sent lewd photographs to the account. The agent who later used the account told Anders he was 16 years old. 

"Yeah, that's pushing it a bit. I don't think I can help you out. Good luck and be careful," Anders said in response. 

The pair then did not communicate for nearly two months. 

On July 30, Anders again sent lewd photographs to the undercover account he believed was a teenager. The pair eventually arranged to meet in person, with Anders suggesting that the apparent teenage boy come to his home and mow the lawn and clean out his garage, the arrest warrant adds. 

On Thursday, Anders and the undercover agent arranged to meet at Subway along Jefferson Highway. The next day, deputies approached Anders in the parking lot and arrested him. 

Anders was arrested on Friday on charges of human trafficking, indecent behavior with a juvenile and online solicitation of a minor.
