DONALDSONVILLE — One man was arrested after a double shooting on St. Vincent Street, officials tell WBRZ.

Kyle Delaney, of Gonzales, was booked for attempted murder after two people were shot Tuesday evening, officials said. Officials said that when they arrived at around 5:30 p.m., one victim sustained a single gunshot wound, while the other sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to an area hospital.

Deputies said Delaney arrived at the victims’ location, exited his vehicle and fired multiple shots in their direction before fleeing the scene.

Delaney was located later at a Gonzales residence. He was booked on the aforementioned charges as well as illegal use of weapons and criminal damage to property.
