DONALDSONVILLE — A water line was accidentally damaged by a contractor in Donaldsonville, officials said Wednesday.

Parish Utilities of Ascension said water pressure for Ascension Consolidated Utility District #1 customers in Donaldsonville will be affected.

"Our crews are currently working to repair the damaged line and restore normal water service as quickly as possible," Parish Utilities of Ascension said. No timeline for repair was given.
