Baton Rouge FedEx driver arrested on hit-and-run charges after allegedly hitting mailbox
CLINTON — A FedEx driver was booked on hit-and-run driving and careless operation of a vehicle charges after allegedly hitting someone's mailbox, deputies said.
Jeremy Devan Jackson, 40, from Baton Rouge, was arrested after deputies received complaints of him hitting someone else's mailbox and driving at a high rate of speed, according to the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office.
Arrest documents said that he had previously been cited for careless operation of a motor vehicle following several complaints about him driving "reckless" in a residential area.
