BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge motorcycle officer was seriously injured in a crash on Joor Road on Monday morning. 

The crash happened around 11 a.m. near the intersection of Joor and Prescott Roads. Emergency officials confirmed one person was seriously injured, and law enforcement later confirmed the victim was a Baton Rouge motorcycle officer. 

It was not immediately clear what led to the crash.
