BATON ROUGE - EBR Schools is holding two community meetings to discuss the district's realignment plans and adjustments to start times affecting six schools.

Phase two of the district's realignment plan affects Greenbrier Elementary, Villa del Rey Elementary, La Belle Aire Elementary, Park Forest Elementary, Park Forest Middle and Belaire High School. 

Elementary schools' start time will move up to 7:45 a.m., and the end time will be 2:55 p.m.

The start time for Park Forest Middle School and Belaire High School would shift to 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:40 p.m.

The meetings are taking place on April 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Villa Del Ray Elementary and on April 20 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Park Forest Middle.

Phase two of the realignment plan still needs board approval before it can go into effect.
