LIVINGSTON — The closure of Gum Swamp Road just north of Miller Road will be extended through Wednesday. 

The road has been closed since Sept. 15 and was originally planned to reopen on Sept. 19. Residents will still use Highway 63 as their alternate route.

The road will remain closed for crews to complete the replacement of the large cross culverts, according to Livingston Parish President Randy Delatte.
