Krewe of Zulu getting ready to roll through the streets of New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS - The Krewe of Zulu is scheduled to roll through the streets of New Orleans at 8 a.m. and people have been awake since the early-morning hours to get a spot along the route. 

Mia Monet spoke with revelers who said they woke up at 3 a.m. to be at the celebration. 

The parade begins at 8 a.m. at the corner of South Claiborne and Jackson avenues. 

People will be lined up to catch beads and Zulu's signature throw - the coconut. 

Afterward, the party keeps on going with Rex rolling at 10:30 a.m.
