NEW ORLEANS — Ochsner Health is now the first health system in the country to partner with Joy 101, a well-being platform created by Hoda Kotb.

Nearly 40,000 Ochsner team members will get free access to Joy 101, which offers short, flexible experiences focused on calm, connection and well-being.

Tracey Schiro, executive vice president and chief people and culture officer at Ochsner Health, said Joy 101 gives team members practical tools to build more joy, calm and connection into their everyday lives.

Joy 101 features expert-led content on meditation, breathwork, sleep, movement and personal growth. Most experiences last less than 10 minutes and can be accessed anytime.

Kotb said she created Joy 101 because she believes joy is something people can practice every day, even during busy lives.

Gayle Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints and governor of the New Orleans Pelicans, became an early investor in Joy 101 and helped bring the partnership to Ochsner.

Ochsner has received several workplace awards, including Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces award and Gold-level recognition for Joy in Medicine by the American Medical Association.
