NEW ORLEANS - Deion Jones' homecoming to the state of Louisiana didn't last long. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the New Orleans Saints traded the former LSU linebacker Jones, who had just signed with the Saints on Aug. 7, to the San Francisco 49ers for running back Zamir White.

With only two weeks since joining the Saints, Jones didn't do much during his time in a black-and-gold uniform. The former Tiger only tallied four total tackles in two preseason games since signing the deal.

Jones, interestingly enough, has worn the uniform of every NFC South team at some point in his career. 

White saw a fair bit of action for the 49ers in their last preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. White carried the ball 12 times for 29 yards in a 41-17 win.
