BATON ROUGE — The Baton Rouge Zoo hosted The Wild Pour on Sunday, inviting residents to sip, stroll and explore the zoo in an entirely new way. 

Building on the legacy of Brew at the Zoo and Roar + Pour, The Wild Pour allowed guests to explore themed tasting areas featuring craft beer, fine wines, premium spirits and cocktails along with food from local restaurants. 

Attendees experienced wildlife and entertainment with the proceeds from the event directly benefiting animal care, conservation initiatives, educational programming and ongoing improvements to enhance the zoo for both guests and wildlife. 

"For years, Brew at the Zoo has been one of our signature fundraising events, and we wanted to build on everything our guests already love," said Jim Fleshman, Director of the Baton Rouge Zoo. "The Wild Pour is an exciting evolution that offers even more tasting experiences while giving guests the unique opportunity to see the Zoo's incredible animals throughout the afternoon."
