ZACHARY - The Zachary Really Hot Air Balloon Festival was shut down following reports of a shooting, the Zachary Police Department confirmed.

Officials received the call around 8:10 p.m.; emergency officials are on scene at the Zachary Community Park.

One bystander, Orion Clayton, told WBRZ that his friend saw two people arguing, with one pulling out a gun.

"I was just trying to figure out what was happening," Clayton said. "I was on my phone, talking to my friends. Then, I saw people start running. So I said, 'What happened? What happened?' One of them said, 'Gun.' One of them said, 'He had a gun. He pulled out a gun.' So, I started running and running."

The Chase Tyler Band also described the scene, saying they were only an hour into their set when police officers began to gather before escorting the band off the stage.

Police officials said no one is hurt at this time. The Zachary Police Department is investigating.
