Pointe Coupee deputies: Man who fled traffic stop into woods taken into custody

LIVONIA — A man who fled a traffic stop on foot into a wooded area was taken into custody, the Pointe Coupee Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies, with help from the Livonia Police Department, pulled over a vehicle carrying four adult males. Three of them were taken into custody on an active immigration warrant.
The fourth person ran into a nearby wooded area. The sheriff's office said the fourth person was located and taken into custody after a search.
