BATON ROUGE — One person is hurt after a stabbing along Old Hammond Highway on Tuesday. 

Officials told WBRZ that, before 1 p.m., one person was transported to a nearby hospital following a stabbing along Old Hammond Highway near the intersection with Lakemont Drive. 

Their condition is not known at this time.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputies and Baton Rouge EMS responded to the scene.
