ST. GEORGE — The St. George Fire Department responded to a fire at Sam's Club on North Mall Drive on Saturday that left one person injured.

Officials from the fire department said that the fire was caused by a cigarette that was swept into a trash can. The fire led to one person being treated and transported to the hospital.

Sam's Club told fire officials that the store would remain closed for a few days as they worked to check all of the inventory and determine the next steps.
