McDonald's bringing 'Fry Aid' pop-up to LSU for Homecoming week
BATON ROUGE — LSU students will be getting a fast-food recharge to cap off their Homecoming celebrations Friday, courtesy of McDonald's.
The chain is launching a pop-up experience dubbed "Fry Aid" near LSU's campus this Saturday, the company announced Thursday. The booth will feature a dispenser loaded with McDonald's gift cards for students to grab.
The campaign draws inspiration from the viral social media pairing of McDonald's French fries and a Diet Coke as a "recovery meal."
