PATTERSON - A Patterson woman was arrested after police determined that two of her minor children had cocaine in their systems. 

The Patterson Police Department said the Department of Children and Family Services was contacted in August by medical staff after one of Shawnna Johnson's children accidentally ingested medication and was taken to a hospital.

During the hospital visit, medical providers issued a drug screen for the child and it found that they tested positive for cocaine. 

Officers said drug screens were issued for Johnson's two other children, the oldest being 16, and found that one other child also had drugs in their system. 

She was booked for two counts of cruelty to juveniles and three counts of improper supervision of a minor.
