CENTERVILLE — Deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for two people who went missing on Thursday.

Jerami Segura and April Comeaux were last seen on Oct. 1, with deputies finding Segura's vehicle at the Cabot Boat Ramp.

Investigators learned that Segura's shrimp boat became disabled at an unknown location, and he was reportedly using a dark-colored jet ski to reach the vessel in an attempt to tow it.

A coordinated search effort between the sheriff's office Marine Patrol, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries began on Saturday.

While the skiff has been located, Segura, Comeaux and their jet ski are still missing according to deputies.

The search remains ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the pair's whereabouts is urged to contact the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-828-1960.
