TANGIPAHOA — The village of Tangipahoa put out a statement saying it is looking to make improvements to the Tangipahoa Community Park.

Those improvements include new playground equipment, per the village. The government is "actively seeking" grants, funding opportunities and other resources.

"We recognize that improvements are needed, and we are committed to exploring opportunities to make our park better for everyone," the village said in a statement.

Anyone with ideas, suggestions and resources for funding is urged to visit city hall and meet with the mayor.
