BAKER — A Baker High School student was arrested on Monday for allegedly bringing a gun to football practice over the weekend. 

Baker High administrators said they received a report that the student had a gun in his backpack on Sunday; however, at this point, no weapon has been located.

Baker Police were notified, and the student was questioned, according to officials. Baker police increased their presence on campus on Monday, with additional security measures being put in place. 

Out of an abundance of caution, Baker High School will operate virtually on Tuesday to allow officers to continue their investigation.
