LIVINGSTON — Two burglary suspects were arrested by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office on Monday following an investigation into several vehicle burglaries. 

According to Sheriff Jason Ard, James Cassidy and Shaun McKinney were arrested as suspects in connection with the alleged thefts, which occurred throughout August and September on the east side of the parish. 

Both were charged with about 18 counts of vehicle burglary each. Deputies believe that one of the suspects pawned and sold the stolen items on the streets for money.

Sheriff Ard said that more victims and charges are possible both within the parish and in a neighboring jurisdiction. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
